Deuteronomy 15:2
ಬಿಡು ಗಡೆಯ ಕ್ರಮವೇನೆಂದರೆ: ಸಾಲ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸಾಲವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡ ಬೇಕು; ಅದು ಕರ್ತನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಾರಣ ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಂದಲೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ನಿಂದಲೂ ಸಾಲ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು.

ಯಾರಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಪಡಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿರೋ ಅಂಥವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಲಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ನಿಮಗೇನು ಹೊಗಳಿಕೆ ಬಂದೀತು? ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪಾಪಿಗಳು ಸಹ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತಾವು ಕೊಟ್ಟಷ್ಟು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಪಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಪಾಪಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಲ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವರು ಎಂಬದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.

ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸದೆ ಇರುವವನಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರುಣೆಯು ತೋರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕರುಣೆಯು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿಗಿಂತ ಮೇಲಾಗಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುತ್ತದೆ.
