ನೀನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬದುಕುವ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕ ನಿಯಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳು ಇವೇ.

ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಾಲ ಉಂಟಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅವನ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಕೂಲಿಯವನ ದಿವಸಗಳ ಹಾಗಲ್ಲವೋ?

ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ಮರೆಯದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನೀನು ಬದುಕುವ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬಹು ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕಾಪಾಡು; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಬೋಧಿಸು.

ಇಗೋ, ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನೀವು ಬದುಕಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
