ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯೊರ್ದ ನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭ ಮಾಡಿ

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊರುವಂಥ ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.

ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಿರಿ; ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
