ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪುಹೊರಿಸಿದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ತಂದು ಅವ ರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಸಿಂಹಗಳ ಗವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು. ಅವರು ಗವಿಯ ತಳವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ಹಾರಿಬಂದು ಅವರ ಎಲುಬುಗ ಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತುಂಡು ತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಮುರಿದು ಹಾಕಿದವು.
