ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದನು; ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಕನಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಆತ್ಮ ಉಂಟೆಂದೂ ಬೆಳಕೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ ಎಂದೂ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು 4:18
ಈ ಕನಸನ್ನು ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನೆಂಬ ಅರಸನಾದ ನಾನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈಗ ಬೆಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರ ನೆಂಬ ನೀನು ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಹೇಳು. ನನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಕಲ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲು ಶಕ್ತರಾದವರಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿ ಶುದ್ಧ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಆತ್ಮವು ಇರುವದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಹೇಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು 5:11
ನಿನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಆತ್ಮವುಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ದೇವ ರುಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ವಿವೇಕವೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೊಳಗೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು. ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರ ಅರಸನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರಿಗೂ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರಿಗೂ ಶಕುನಗಾರರಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

ಓ ಮಂತ್ರ ಗಾರರ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದ ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೇ, ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮವಿರುವದೆಂದೂ ಯಾವ ರಹ ಸ್ಯವೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಪಡಿಸದೆಂದೂ ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ನಾನು ಕಂಡ ಕನಸಿನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥ ವನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು.

ಅರಸನು ಕೇಳುವ ಸಂಗತಿಯು ಅಪರೂಪವಾದದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸಮಾಡದ ದೇವರುಗಳೇ ಹೊರತು ಇನ್ಯಾರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾರರು ಅಂದರು.
