Daniel 12:8
ಆದರೆ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆಗ ನಾನು--ಓ ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳ ಅಂತ್ಯವೇನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.

ಅವರು ನದಿಯ ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ನಾರು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಈ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯದ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವದು ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಗ

ಆದರೆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನೂ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಈ ಮಾತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮೊದಲು ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದಿದಾಗ ಇವು ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆಯೆಂದೂ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.

ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ತಂದೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಮಯ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಲಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟದ್ದಲ್ಲ.

ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಬಾಧೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನೂ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷೀಕರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಆತನು ಯಾವ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಎಂಥ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ನೆಂಬದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಪರಿಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
