ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿ ಹಡಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂರ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತಾರು ಮಂದಿ ಇದ್ದೆವು.

ಆದರೆ ನೋಹನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರಲು ದೇವರ ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿಯು ಒಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಕಾದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾ ಗಿದ್ದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆತನು ಸಾರಿದನು. ಆ ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಎಂಟೇ ಜನರು ನೀರಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿದರು.
