ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಭೇದ ಉಂಟಾದಾಗ ಅವರು ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಎಳೆದಾಡಿ ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯ ನಾಯಕನು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ಕೋಟೆಯೊಳಗೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
