Proverbs 26:20
ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಆರಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ--ಹಾಗಯೇ ಚಾಡಿಕೋರನು ಇಲ್ಲ ದಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗಳ ಶಮನವಾಗುವದು.

ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಬೆಂಕಿಯೂ ದುಷ್ಟಲೋಕವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ಅಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದು ದೇಹವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನರಕದ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದೆ.

ಚಾಡಿಕೋರನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಗಾಯಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತವೆ.
