ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮೋಶೆಗೂ ಆರೋನ ರಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಈ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಈ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸಭೆಯು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟುವದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟುಕಾಲ ಸಹಿಸಲಿ? ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 11:15
ನೀನು ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡುವದಾ ಗಿದ್ದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿದವ ನಾದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನೋಡದಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಬಿಡು ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

ಜನರು ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಅದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕರ್ತನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಗೊಂಡನು. ಕರ್ತನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತಿ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಹಿಸಿತು.

ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಗೂ ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿತು.
