Leviticus 6:6
ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂದಾಜಿನ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಮಂದೆಯಿಂದ ದೋಷ ವಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ಟಗರನ್ನು ಅತಿಕ್ರಮ ಬಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು.

ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಹಿಂಡಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ಟಗರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂದಾಜಿ ಗನುಸಾರ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮದ ಬಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು; ತನ್ನ ಅಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಪ್ಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನು ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು.
ಯೆಶಾಯ 53:10
ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಜಜ್ಜುವದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆ ಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆತನು (ದೇವರು) ಆತನನ್ನು ಸಂಕಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿದನು; ನೀನು ಆತನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಪಾಪ ಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವನು. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ದಿವಸ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವನು, ಕರ್ತನ ಸಂತೋಷವು ಆತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವದು.
