ಶೆಕೆಮಿನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಿಲ್ಲೋನಿನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಶೆಕೆಮಿನ ಬೈಲಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಸ್ತಂಭದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನನ್ನು ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು.
