Ezekiel 38:4
ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದವಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕು ವೆನು; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುದುರೆ ಸವಾರರನ್ನೂ ಮುಂದೆ ತರುವೆನು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾನಾ ತರವಾದ ಆಯುಧ ಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟಿರುವರು, ಇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಖೇಡ್ಯವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ಉಳ್ಳ ಮಹಾಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ತರುವೆನು; ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕತ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವರು.

ನೀನು ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾಗಗಳ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಬರುವಿ; ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಅನೇಕ ಜನರೂ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದ ವರಾಗಿ ಬಲವಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಹಾದಂಡಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಬರುವಿರಿ.

ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದವಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಳಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ, ನದಿಗಳ ವಿಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನು ಚಿಪ್ಪುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ನದಿಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಳೆದು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಾನುಗಳು ಚಿಪ್ಪುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ನದಿಗಳ ವಿಾನುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವೆನು; ನೀನು ಬಯಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವಿ; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸುವದು ಇಲ್ಲ, ಸೇರಿಸುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆರನೆಯ ಭಾಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಉತ್ತರದ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತರುವೆನು;

ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವರಾದ ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ಯ ರನ್ನೂ ನಾಯಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಸ್ಥರು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಧರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸವಾರಿಮಾಡುವ ರಾಹುತರಾಗಿಯೂ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವಂಥ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೋಹಿಸಿದಳು.

ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ರೌದ್ರನಾಗಿರುವದೂ ಗೊಂದಲ ದಿಂದಿರುವದೂ ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಬಂತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೊಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಕಡಿವಾಣವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಾಕಿ, ನೀನು ಬಂದು ದಾರಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವೆನು ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೂದದವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃ ಗಳ ಮನೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಹಸ್ರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಶತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ಆದುಕೊಂಡಂಥ, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗತಕ್ಕಂಥ, ಈಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಖೇಡ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಂಥ ಮೂರು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದ ಗಾದ್ಯರು ಇದ್ದರು. ಇವರು ಖೇಡ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಭಲ್ಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದರು; ಅವರ ಮುಖಗಳು ಸಿಂಹದ ಮುಖಗಳ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದವು ಮತ್ತು ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಜಿಂಕೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ವೇಗವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
