ಕರ್ತನು ಉಜ್ಜನನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನು ವ್ಯಥೆ ಗೊಂಡು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಪೆರೆಚುಜ್ಜಾ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
