2 Samuel 23:17
ಅವನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇದನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದು ನನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ. ಇದು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣದಾಶೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಕ್ತವಲ್ಲವೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕುಡಿಯಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದನು. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
