ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿನ ಬಾಗಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಕೊಡುವ ವನಾರೆಂದು ಬಹು ಆಶೆಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
