ಅವರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆಯಾವನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಾವು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೇರೆಗಳೊಳಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾಶವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ

ದಾವೀದನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವರುಷದಿಂದ ವರುಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರು ವರುಷ ಬರ ಉಂಟಾ ಗಿತ್ತು. ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದನು. ಕರ್ತನು--ಸೌಲನು ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ ದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ರಕ್ತಾಪರಾಧವುಳ್ಳ ಅವನ ಮನೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೂ ವೈರಿಯಾದ, ಅಗಾಗ ನಾದ, ಹಮ್ಮೆದಾತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹಾಮಾನನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಲು ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಪೂರೆಂಬ ಚೀಟನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದನು;

ಅರವತ್ತೆರಡು ವಾರಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೆಸ್ಸೀಯನು ಛೇದಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು. ಆದರೆ ತನಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ; ನುಗ್ಗುವ ಪ್ರಭುವಿನ ಜನರು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನೂ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವರು. ಪ್ರಳಯದಿಂದ ಅದು ಅಂತ್ಯವಾಗುವದು. ಅಂತ್ಯದ ವರೆಗೂ ಯುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಾಶನಗಳು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವವು.
ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 7:2
ನೀವು ಮಾಡುವ ತೀರ್ಪಿ ನಿಂದಲೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪಾಗುವದು; ಮತ್ತು ನೀವು ಅಳೆಯುವ ಅಳತೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅಳತೆ ಯಾಗುವದು.
