ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ಅಸಾಹೇಲನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗು; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಬಿಡುವದು ಯಾಕೆ? ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋ ದರನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನಿಗೆ ಮುಖತೋರಿಸುವದು ಹೇಗೆ ಅಂದನು.

ನೀನು ಎದೋಮ್ಯ ರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದೇ ಹೊಡೆದದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು. ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಪಡು; ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾದಿರು; ನಿನ್ನ ಕೇಡಿಗಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ಜಗಳವಾಡಬೇಕು? ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೆಹೂ ದವೂ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುವಿರಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಹೋದನು.
