ಅವನು ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಾಡಿಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ದೇವದೂತನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.

ಈ ಮಾತಿನ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಭೂಮಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಯುವದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವ ದೂತನ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದಳು.

ಆಕೀಷನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿನೀನು ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೇವದೂತನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಉತ್ತಮನಾಗಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಇವನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರಬಾರದೆಂದು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಅವ ನನ್ನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಕುಮಾರನು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾ ನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಚೀಬನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆಯವರು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಡುವರೆಂದು ಅಂದನು.
