ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡಲಿರುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಗಳಿಗೂ ನೂರುಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿ ದನು.

ಕೆಲ ವರು ಅವನ ರಥಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಓಡುವರು. ಸಾವಿರ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಐವತ್ತು ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿ ಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳುವವರಾ ಗಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಪೈರನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ರಥದ ಸಾಮಾನು ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸುವನು.
