ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೂತನು ಬಂದು --ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರ ಹೃದಯಗಳು ಅಬ್ಷಾ ಲೋಮನ ಕಡೆಗಾದವು ಅಂದನು.

ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದನು. ಈ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕದ್ದುಕೊಂಡನು.
