ಕರ್ತನು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರಿಗೆ ರಥಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವೂ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವೂ ಮಹಾಸೈನ್ಯದ ಶಬ್ದವೂ ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊ ಬ್ಬರು--ಇಗೋ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಲು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡರು.

ಯೆಶಾಯ 31:1
