2 Kings 3
1 ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನ ಹದಿನೆಂಟನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹಾಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋರಾಮನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು.
2 ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಮಾಡಿಟ್ಟ ಬಾಳನ ಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
3 ಆದರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವನು ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೇ ಇದ್ದನು.
1 Now Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned twelve years.
2 And he wrought evil in the sight of the Lord; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.
3 Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.

Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.
