fullscreen18 ಯೇಹುವು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ-- ಅಹಾಬನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಯೇಹುವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸೇವಿಸುವನು.

fullscreen19 ಆದದರಿಂದ ಬಾಳನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆಯಿರಿ; ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಬಾರದೆ ಇರಕೂಡದು. ನಾನು ಬಾಳನಿಗೆ ಮಹಾಬಲಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಬಾರದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅವನು ಬದುಕನು ಅಂದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯೇಹುವು ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವ ವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ತಂತ್ರದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

fullscreen20 ಆಗ ಯೇಹುವು ಬಾಳನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೊಡ್ಡಸಂಘವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

fullscreen21 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದರು. ಯೇಹುವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಂದರು. ಬಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು.

fullscreen22 ಆಗ ಅವನು ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವವನಿಗೆ ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು.

fullscreen23 ಆಗ ಯೇಹುವೂ ರೆಕಾಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋನಾದಾಬನೂ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ದರು. ಅವರು ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವವರ ಹೊರತು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಇರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಶೋಧಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

fullscreen24 ಅವರು ಬಲಿಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲು ಒಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇ ಶಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಹುವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಎಂಭತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರೆ ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಈಡಾಗಿ ರುವದು ಅಂದನು.

fullscreen25 ಅವನು ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಯೇಹುವು ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಿಗೂನೀವು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಯಾವನೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

fullscreen26 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾವಲು ಗಾರನೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

fullscreen27 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಬಾಳನ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ವನ್ನು ಒಡೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ತಿಪ್ಪೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

fullscreen28 ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಯೇಹುವು ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

fullscreen29 ಆದರೆ ಬೇತೇಲ್‌, ದಾನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹೋರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಯೇಹುವು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

18 And Jehu gathered all the people together, and said unto them, Ahab served Baal a little; but Jehu shall serve him much.

19 Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.

20 And Jehu said, Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.

21 And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to another.

22 And he said unto him that was over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought them forth vestments.

23 And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the Lord, but the worshippers of Baal only.

24 And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.

25 And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.

26 And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them.

27 And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house unto this day.

28 Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.

29 Howbeit from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in Beth-el, and that were in Dan.

19 ಆದದರಿಂದ ಬಾಳನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆಯಿರಿ; ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಬಾರದೆ ಇರಕೂಡದು. ನಾನು ಬಾಳನಿಗೆ ಮಹಾಬಲಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಬಾರದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅವನು ಬದುಕನು ಅಂದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯೇಹುವು ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವ ವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ತಂತ್ರದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

21 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದರು. ಯೇಹುವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಂದರು. ಬಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು.
And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to another.

22 ಆಗ ಅವನು ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವವನಿಗೆ ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು.
And he said unto him that was over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought them forth vestments.

23 ಆಗ ಯೇಹುವೂ ರೆಕಾಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋನಾದಾಬನೂ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ದರು. ಅವರು ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವವರ ಹೊರತು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಇರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಶೋಧಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the Lord, but the worshippers of Baal only.

24 ಅವರು ಬಲಿಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲು ಒಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇ ಶಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಹುವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಎಂಭತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರೆ ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಈಡಾಗಿ ರುವದು ಅಂದನು.

And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.

26 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾವಲು ಗಾರನೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them.

27 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಬಾಳನ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ವನ್ನು ಒಡೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ತಿಪ್ಪೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house unto this day.

28 ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಯೇಹುವು ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.

29 ಆದರೆ ಬೇತೇಲ್‌, ದಾನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹೋರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಯೇಹುವು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Howbeit from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in Beth-el, and that were in Dan.
