1 And the queen of Sheba hath heard of the fame of Solomon, and cometh in to try Solomon with acute sayings, to Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels bearing spices and gold in abundance, and precious stone; and she cometh in unto Solomon, and speaketh with him all that hath been with her heart,1 ಶೆಬದ ರಾಣಿಯು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಒಗಟುಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಲು ಅವಳು ಮಹಾಗುಂಪಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸುಗಂಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹು ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಒಂಟೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದಳು. ಅವಳು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತಾ ಡಿದಳು.

2 and Solomon declareth to her all her matters, and there hath not been hid a thing from Solomon that he hath not declared to her.ಆಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಅವಳ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಅವ ಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡದಂಥ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಚ್ಚಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಒಂದೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

3 And the queen of Sheba seeth the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he hath built,ಶೆಬದ ರಾಣಿಯು ಸೊಲೊ ಮೋನನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ

4 and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the standing of his ministers, and their clothing, and his stewards, and their clothing, an his burnt-offering that he offered up in the house of Jehovah, and there hath not been any more spirit in her.ಅವನ ಮೇಜಿನ ಭೋಜನವನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು ಕೂತಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ನಿಂತಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಪಾನದಾಯಕರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ವಿಸ್ಮಯವಾಯಿತು.

5 And she saith unto the king, `True `is' the word that I heard in my land concerning thy matters and concerning thy wisdom,ಅವಳು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೂ ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ಸತ್ಯ.

6 and I have given no credence to their words, till that I have come, and mine eyes see, and lo, there hath not been declared to me the half of the abundance of thy wisdom -- thou hast added unto the report that I heard.ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ನೋಡುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ಹೋದೆನು; ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹಾಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧ ವಾದರೂ ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿರುವದು.

7 `O the happiness of thy men, and the happiness of thy servants -- these -- who are standing before thee continually, and hearing thy wisdom.ನಿನ್ನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಭಾಗ್ಯವಂತರು; ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಿಂತು ನಿನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವ ಈ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಭಾಗ್ಯ ವಂತರು.

8 Let Jehovah thy God be blessed who hath delighted in thee, to put thee on His throne for king for Jehovah thy God; in the love of thy God to Israel, to establish it to the age, He hath put thee over them for king, to do judgment and righteousness.'ನಿನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅರಸ ನಾಗಿರಲು ತನ್ನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇರಿ ಸಲು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ. ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಯುಗ ಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೂ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಡಿಸಲು ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರಲು ಮಾಡಿದನು ಅಂದಳು.

9 And she giveth to the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and spices in great abundance, and precious stone; and there hath not been any such spice as the queen of Sheba hath given to king Solomon.ಅವಳು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ನೂರಿಪ್ಪತ್ತು ತಲಾಂತು ತೂಕ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಬಹು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಸುಗಂಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು. ಶೆಬದ ರಾಣಿಯು ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಂಥ ಸುಂಗಧಗಳು ತರುವಾಯ ಬಂದದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.

10 And also, servants of Huram, and servants of Solomon, who brought in gold from Ophir, have brought in algum-trees and precious stone.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಓಫೀರಿನಿಂದ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ತಂದ ಹೂರಾಮನ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಸೇವ ಕರೂ ಅಲ್ಮಗ್‌ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ತಂದರು.

11 And the king maketh the algum-trees staircases for the house of Jehovah, and for the house of the king, and harps and psalteries for singers; and there have been none seen like these before in the land of Judah.ಅರಸನು ಆ ಸುಗಂಧ ಮರಗಳಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಸೋಪಾನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಾಡುವವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ವೀಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು; ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಅಂಥವುಗಳು ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ.

12 And king Solomon hath given to the queen of Sheba all her desire that she asked, apart from that which she had brought unto the king, and she turneth and goeth to her land, she and her servants.ಶೆಬದ ರಾಣಿಯು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಂದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದ ಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಅವಳು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಆಗ ಅವಳು ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಳು; ಅವಳೂ ಅವಳ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಕೂಡ ಹೋದರು.

13 And the weight of the gold that is coming to Solomon in one year is six hundred and sixty and six talents of gold,ಆದರೆ ವರ್ತಕರೂ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಸ್ಥರೂ ತಂದದ್ದು ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತೂಕವು ಆರುನೂರ ಅರವತ್ತಾರು ತಲಾಂತು ತೂಕ ಬಂಗಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

14 apart from `what' the tourists, and the merchants, are bringing in; and all the kings of Arabia, and the governors of the land, are bringing in gold and silver to Solomon.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರಬಸ್ಥಾನದ ಅರಸುಗಳೂ ದೇಶದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ತಂದರು.

15 And king Solomon maketh two hundred targets of alloyed gold, six hundred `shekels' of alloyed gold he causeth to go up on the one target;ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಅಪರಂಜಿಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೂರು ಖೇಡ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಒಂದೊಂದು ಖೇಡ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆರುನೂರು ಶೆಕೇಲು ತೂಕ ಅಪರಂಜಿ ಇತ್ತು.

16 and three hundred shields of alloyed gold, three hundred `shekels' of gold he causeth to go up on the one shield, and the king putteth them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಪರಂಜಿಯಿಂದ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ಗುರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಒಂದೊಂದು ಗುರಾ ಣಿಗೆ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ಶೆಕೇಲು ಅಪರಂಜಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಅರಸನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಅಡವಿಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟನು.

17 And the king maketh a great throne of ivory, and overlayeth it with pure gold;ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರಸನು ದಂತದಿಂದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಿಂಹಾ ಸನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಅಪರಂಜಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊದಿ ಸಿದನು.

18 and six steps `are' to the throne, and a footstool of gold, to the throne they are fastened, and hands `are' on this `side' and on that on the place of the sitting, and two lions are standing near the hands,ಈ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಕ್ಕೆ ಆರು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲುಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಕ್ಕೆ ತಗಲಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪಾದ ಪೀಠ ಇತ್ತು. ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಎರಡು ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೈಗಳಿದ್ದವು; ಆ ಕೈಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವು.

19 and twelve lions are standing there on the six steps on this `side', and on that: it hath not been made so for any kingdom.ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ಆರು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಎರಡು ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿ ದ್ದವು. ಯಾವ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಂಥದ್ದು ಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.

20 And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon `are' of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon `are' of refined gold -- silver is not reckoned in the days of Solomon for anything;ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಂಗಾರದವುಗಳು. ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಅಡವಿಯ ಮನೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅಪ ರಂಜಿಯವುಗಳು. ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯದು ಒಂದೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಲೆಯೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

21 for ships of the king are going to Tarshish, with servants of Huram: once in three years come do the ships of Tarshish bearing gold, and silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಹೂರಾಮನ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಅರಸನ ಹಡಗುಗಳು ತಾರ್ಷಿಷಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮೂರು ವರುಷಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದುಸಾರಿ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಯನ್ನೂ ದಂತವನ್ನೂ ಕೋತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನವಿಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.

22 And king Solomon becometh greater than any of the kings of the earth for riches and wisdom;ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಅರಸುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

23 and all the kings of the earth are seeking the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom that God hath put in his heart,ದೇವರು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ಅವನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಅರಸುಗಳು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಮುಖದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದರು.

24 and they are bringing in each his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.ಅವರವರು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಯುಧ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಗಂಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೇಸರ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ವರುಷ ವರುಷಕ್ಕೂ ನೇಮಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

25 And there are to Solomon four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, and he placed them in cities of the chariot, and with the king in Jerusalem.ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಜೋಡು ಕುದುರೆಗಳೂ ರಥಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು. ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ರಾಹುತರಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರನ್ನು ರಥಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.

26 And he is ruling over all the kings from the River even unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt.ಅವನು ನದಿ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮೇರೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು.

27 And the king maketh the silver in Jerusalem as stones, and the cedars he hath made as sycamores, that `are' in the low country, for abundance,ಅರಸನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲು ಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆಲದ ಮರಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

28 and they are bringing out horses from Egypt to Solomon, and from all the lands.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದಲೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು.

29 And the rest of the matters of Solomon, the first and the last, are they not written beside the matters of Nathan the prophet, and beside the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and with the visions of Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam son of Nebat?ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು, ಮೊದ ಲನೆಯವುಗಳೂ ಕಡೆಯವುಗಳೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ನಾತಾನನ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಶೀಲೋವಿನವನಾದ ಅಹೀಯನ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಇದ್ದೋವನು ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮ ನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ದರ್ಶನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವು ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವಲ್ಲವೋ?

30 And Solomon reigneth in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years,ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಸೊಲೊ ಮೋನನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.

31 and Solomon lieth with his fathers, and they bury him in the city of David his father, and reign doth Rehoboam his son in his stead.ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿ ದನು; ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.
