ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನೇ, ಕರ್ತ ನಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಸುಡುವದು ನಿನಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಲ್ಲ; ಧೂಪ ಸುಡುವದು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದು; ನೀನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗು; ನೀನು ಅಪರಾಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ. ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಇದು ನಿನಗೆ ಮಾನವಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.

ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಆರೋನನು ಪರಿಮಳ ಧೂಪ ವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಡಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಪರಿಮಳ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಡಬೇಕು.

ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 18:7

ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಹನಾನೀಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಹೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೋದನು. ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನಿಗೆ ಅವನು--ದುಷ್ಟ ನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಕೊಡುವವನಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಬಹುದೋ? ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ರೌದ್ರ ಉಂಟು.
