ಆದರೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಹೋದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.
