ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನ ಅರಸನು--ನೀವು ವಿಾಕಾಯೆಹುವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಆಮೋನನ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಅರಸನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಷನ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ--

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀತಿ ದಮೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುವ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಫೇಲಿಕ್ಸನು ನಡುಗಿ--ನೀನು ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು; ನನಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾದ ಸಮಯವು ಇರುವಾಗ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕರೆಯಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
