ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು--ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನು ಹೋಗಿ ರಾಮೋತ್ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮರುಳು ಗೊಳಿಸುವವನು ಯಾರು ಅಂದನು.

ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವಾಗ--ಈ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯು ನನಗೆ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಹೇಳಬಾರದು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿಸಲಾರನು; ಆತನು ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಶೋಧಿಸುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
