2 Kings 24:19
ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದನು.

ತಿನ್ನಕೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಷ್ಟು ಕೆಟ್ಟವುಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಆ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನೂ ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುವ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಶೇಷವನ್ನೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರನ್ನೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಕೊನ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಬದ ಲಾಗಿ ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಅರಸ ನಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.

ದುಷ್ಟನಾದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಪ್ರಭುವೇ, ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಂತ್ಯ ದಿವಸವು ಬಂದಿತು.
