ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹೋಶೆಯನು ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಹಳ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಬೇತೇಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುವದು. ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕಡಿಯಲ್ಪ ಡುವನು (ಹಾಳಾಗುವನು).

ಸಮಾರ್ಯವಾದರೋ ಅದರ ಅರಸನು ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನೊರೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಳಿದು ಹೋಗುವನು;

ಯೋಥಾಮನ ಮಗನೂ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನೂ ಆದ ಆಹಾಜನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರ ಸನೂ ಆದ ಪೆಕಹ ಎಂಬವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಅದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅಶ್ಶೂ ರಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.

ಆಗ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
