2 Corinthians 7:14
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದವೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾವು ತೀತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಆಡಿದ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೆಯೂ ಸತ್ಯವೆಂದು ಕಂಡುಬಂತು.

For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.

For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.

ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಸತ್ಯವಂತನಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾತು ಹೌದೆಂದೂ ಅಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದ ವರನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವ ದೇವರು ತೀತನ ಬರುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸಿದನು.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಸಿದ್ದವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತುಂಟು; ಒಂದು ವರುಷದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಕಾಯದವರು ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ದ್ದರೆಂದು ಮಕೆದೋನ್ಯದವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯು ಬಹು ಜನರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿತು.

ನಮಗಿರುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನಾವು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಾಚಿಕಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕಲ್ಲ, ಭಕ್ತವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಕರ್ತನು ಈ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿಂಸೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀವು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಕಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತೋರಿಬಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಾಳ್ಮೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಪಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
