ಆಹಾಜನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃವಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದವನಲ್ಲ.
