ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಅರಸನಾದ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.

ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟತರುವಾಯ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋ ಯಾದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ತಾಪರಾಧದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸೇವಕರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನ ಮಂಚದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಅವರು ಅವ ನನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು; ಆದರೆ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿ ಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
