ಅದಕ್ಕವ ರು--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಳುಹಿಸಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಬರಿದಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸದೆ ಅದರ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅಪರಾಧ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನೀವು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವಿರಿ. ಆತನ ಕೈ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗದೆ ಇರುವ ಕಾರಣ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವದು ಅಂದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿ ತಂದ ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಮಹಾ ದೊಡ್ಡನಾಶ ಮಾಡಿತು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಿಂದ ಹಿರಿಯರ ವರೆಗೂ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದನು; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗಡ್ಡೆರೋಗ ಹುಟ್ಟಿತು.

ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅಷ್ಡೋದಿನ ಜನರು ನೋಡಿ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಬಾರದು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನ ಕೈ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ದಾಗೋನನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದರು.

ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮ ಬಲಿಯ ನಿಯಮವು ಇದೇ: ಇದು ಅತಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಾದದ್ದು.
ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 6:6
ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂದಾಜಿನ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಮಂದೆಯಿಂದ ದೋಷ ವಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ಟಗರನ್ನು ಅತಿಕ್ರಮ ಬಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು.

ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂಡುಗಳಿಂದ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ ಟಗರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂದಾಜಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಶೆಕೆಲುಗಳಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಶೆಕೆಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಅತಿ ಕ್ರಮದ ಬಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು.

ಅವನು ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಪರಾಧ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಪಾಪದ ಬಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಹೆಣ್ಣುಕುರಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಮೇಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮರಿಯನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು; ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವನ ಪಾಪದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 34:20
ಕತ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ಭ ತೆರೆಯುವಂಥದ್ದನ್ನು ಕುರಿಮರಿ ಯಿಂದ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಬೇಕು. ನೀನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅದರ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮುರಿಯಬೇಕು. ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸ ಬೇಕು. ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾರೂ ಬರೀಗೈಯಿಂದ ಕಾಣಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು.
