ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೊಬ್ಬನು ಏಲಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಫರೋ ಹನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾದದ್ದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು--ಲೇವಿಯನಾದ ಆರೋನನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅವನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡ ಬಲ್ಲನೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರು ಗೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸುವನು.
