ಈಗ ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸದೆ ಪುರುಷರನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರನ್ನೂ ಮೊಲೆ ಕೂಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದನ ಕುರಿ ಒಂಟೆ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕು ಎಂಬದು.

ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವರು ಅಫೇಕ್‌ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯು ಉಳಿದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಬಂದು ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಒಳ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡನು.

ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ನಿನ ಗಾಗಿ ಬೀದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕ ವನು--ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳು ಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೆ ಇವನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
