ತರುವಾಯ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಠಾಣವಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಿ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನೀನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಾಗ ನಿನಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ವೀಣೆ, ದಮ್ಮಡಿ, ಪಿಳ್ಳಂಗೋವಿ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪು ಬರುವದು. ಅವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವರು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸೌಲನು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಹಿಡು ಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವದನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಜಮಾನನಾಗಿರುವ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ನಿಂತಿ ರುವದನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮನು ಸೌಲನ ದೂತರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದನು; ಅವರು ಸಹ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಸಿದರು.

ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಗಿಬೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಠಾಣವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದನು; ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಅದು ಕೇಳಿಬಂತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸೌಲನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಬ್ರಿಯರು ಕೇಳಲೆಂದು ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿಸಿದನು.

ಅವನು ಆ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪು ಅವನೆದುರಿಗೆ ಬಂತು; ಆಗ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಎಲೀಷನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೀಯೋ ಅಂದರು.

ಆಗ ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಎಲೀಷನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಇಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೀಯೋ ಅಂದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ನಾನು ಕೂಡ ಬಲ್ಲೆ, ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಇರ್ರಿ ಅಂದನು.

ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ--ಎಲೀಯನ ಆತ್ಮನು ಎಲೀಷನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗನಮಸ್ಕಾರಮಾಡಿದರು.
