ಎಲ್ಕಾನನು ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಪೆನಿನ್ನಳಿಗೂ ಅವಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಮಾರರಿಗೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆ ಯರಿಗೂ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 3:4
ಎರಡು ಮೂತ್ರಜನಕಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಕ್ಕೆಯ ಬದಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನೂ ಮೂತ್ರಜನ ಕಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಪೊರೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮೂತ್ರಜನ ಕಾಂಗಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 7:15
ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಬಲಿಯ ಯಜ್ಞದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿ ಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ದಿನವೇ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು; ಅವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಯಾವದನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಬಾರದು.

ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಇಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳೊ ಳಗಿಂದ ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕು.
