1 Corinthians 11:27
ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಅಯೋಗ್ಯ ವಾಗಿ ಈ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಕರ್ತನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾನಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೂ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕೂ ಅಪರಾಧ ಮಾಡಿದವನಾಗಿರುವನು.

ಆದರೆ ಶುದ್ಧನಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೂ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡದವನೂ ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು; ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾರದಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಹೆಣದಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದೂರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ದರೂ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಯಾವನು ದೇವ ಕುಮಾರನನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿದಂಥ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧವೆಂದೆಣಿಸಿ ಕೃಪೆಯ ಆತ್ಮನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೋ ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕ್ರೂರವಾದ ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರನಾಗಬೇಕೆಂಬ ದನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿರಿ.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆರೋನನ ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ನಾದಾಬ್ ಅಬೀಹು ಅವರವರ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಬೇರೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
