ಆದದರಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನು ಯೋವಾಬನ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಜನರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ--ನಾನು ಜನರ ಲೆಕ್ಕವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬವು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ದಾನಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಲೆಕ್ಕವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
