1 ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾ 16

1 1 ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತಂದು ದಾವೀದನು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಹಾಕಿದ ಡೇರೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

2 ದಾವೀದನು ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ

3 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಪುರುಷರಾದ ಸಮಸ್ತರಿಗೂ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಒಂದೊಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ತುಂಡು ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಬುದ್ದಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

4 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಹೊಗಳುವ ದಕ್ಕೂ ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

5 ಅವರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಆಸಾಫನೂ ಅವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನೂ ಯೆಗೀಯೇಲನೂ ಶೆವಿಾರಾಮೋತನೂ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನೂ ಮತ್ತಿತ್ಯನೂ ಎಲೀಯಾಬನೂ ಬೆನಾಯನೂ ಒಬೇದೆದೋಮನೂ ಯೇಗಿಯೇಲನೂ. ಇವರು ವೀಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಿನ್ನರಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು; ಆದರೆ ಆಸಾಫನು ತಾಳ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

6 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಬೆನಾಯನೂ ಯೆಹಜೀಯೇಲನೂ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬ ಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

7 ಆಗ ಅದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಮೊದಲು ಆಸಾಫನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೂ ಈ ಸಂಗೀತವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು;--

8 ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾ ಡಿರಿ, ಆತನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿರಿ; ಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

9 ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಿರಿ.

10 ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರ ಹೃದ ಯವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ.

11 ಕರ್ತನನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಬಲ ವನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರಿ. ಆತನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ.

12 ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯನಿರ್ಣ ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

13 ಆತನ ಸೇವ ಕನಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂತಾನವೇ, ಆತನು ಆದು ಕೊಂಡ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ,

14 ಆತನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವೆ.

15 ಆತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತರಗಳಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿ ಸಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು

16 ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಆಣೆಯನ್ನು ಇದನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

17 ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ

18 ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯ ತೆಯ ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

19 ಆಗ ನೀವು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥರಾಗಿಯೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಿರಿ.

20 ಅವರು ಜನಾಂಗದಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

21 ಆತನು ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡ ಗೊಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೌದು, ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿದನು.

22 ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.

23 ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯೇ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ದಿನ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ.

24 ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರಿ.

25 ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡತಕ್ಕವನೂ;

26 ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಭಯಂಕರನೂ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಜನಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದನು.

27 ಮಹಿ ಮೆಯೂ ಪ್ರಭೆಯೂ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವೆ. ಬಲವೂ ಆನಂದವೂ ಆತನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವೆ.

28 ಜನಸಂತತಿಗಳೇ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬಲ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನಿರಿ,

29 ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನಿರಿ; ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತ್ವ ವೆಂಬ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿರಿ.

30 ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯೇ, ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡುಗು. ಲೋಕವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಕದಲುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

31 ಆಕಾಶ ಗಳು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡಲಿ.

32 ಕರ್ತನು ಆಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲಿ. ಸಮುದ್ರವೂ ಅದರ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತ್ವವೂ ಘೋಷಿಸಲಿ; ಹೊಲಗಳೂ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಪಡಲಿ.

33 ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಅಡವಿಯ ಮರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಮಾಡಲಿ; ಆತನು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ.

34 ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು;ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಅವೆ.

35 ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹೆಸ ರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಪಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೂಡಿಸು.

36 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕರ್ತ ನಾದ ದೇವರು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತುತಿ ಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ. ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರು ಆಮೆನ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದರು.

37 ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಬಿಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ--ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿವಸದ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಲು ಆಸಾಫನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋ ದರರನ್ನೂ;

38 ಒಬೇದೆದೋಮನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋ ದರರಾದ ಅರವತ್ತೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನೂ; ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕ ರಾದ ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಒಬೇದೆದೋಮ ನನ್ನೂ ಹೋಸನನ್ನೂ.

39 ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಉದಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದಹನಬಲಿ ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕೂ

40 ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕನೂ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ

41 ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಮಾನನೂ ಯೆದುತೂನನೂ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವರೂ.

42 ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಶಬ್ದ ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕಾದವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತುತೂರಿಗಳೂ ತಾಳಗಳೂ ದೇವರ ಗೀತ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳೂ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಮಾನನೂ ಯೆದುತೂನನೂ, ಮತ್ತು ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಕುಮಾರರು ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

43 ತರುವಾಯ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು; ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀ ರ್ವದಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದನು.

1 So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.

4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to record, and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel:

5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;

6 Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

7 Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the Lord into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

8 Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

11 Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.

12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

14 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;

19 When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.

20 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;

21 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

23 Sing unto the Lord, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.

24 Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.

25 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.

26 For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

27 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

28 Give unto the Lord, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

29 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.

32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.

33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the Lord, because he cometh to judge the earth.

34 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.

36 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord.

37 So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required:

38 And Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:

39 And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the Lord in the high place that was at Gibeon,

40 To offer burnt offerings unto the Lord upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the Lord, which he commanded Israel;

41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the Lord, because his mercy endureth for ever;

42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

43 And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.

2 ದಾವೀದನು ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ

3 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಪುರುಷರಾದ ಸಮಸ್ತರಿಗೂ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಒಂದೊಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ತುಂಡು ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಬುದ್ದಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

4 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಹೊಗಳುವ ದಕ್ಕೂ ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

5 ಅವರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಆಸಾಫನೂ ಅವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನೂ ಯೆಗೀಯೇಲನೂ ಶೆವಿಾರಾಮೋತನೂ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನೂ ಮತ್ತಿತ್ಯನೂ ಎಲೀಯಾಬನೂ ಬೆನಾಯನೂ ಒಬೇದೆದೋಮನೂ ಯೇಗಿಯೇಲನೂ. ಇವರು ವೀಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಿನ್ನರಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು; ಆದರೆ ಆಸಾಫನು ತಾಳ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

6 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಬೆನಾಯನೂ ಯೆಹಜೀಯೇಲನೂ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬ ಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

7 ಆಗ ಅದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಮೊದಲು ಆಸಾಫನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೂ ಈ ಸಂಗೀತವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು;--

8 ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾ ಡಿರಿ, ಆತನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿರಿ; ಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

9 ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಿರಿ.

10 ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರ ಹೃದ ಯವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ.

11 ಕರ್ತನನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಬಲ ವನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರಿ. ಆತನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ.

12 ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯನಿರ್ಣ ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

13 ಆತನ ಸೇವ ಕನಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂತಾನವೇ, ಆತನು ಆದು ಕೊಂಡ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ,

14 ಆತನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವೆ.

15 ಆತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತರಗಳಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿ ಸಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು

16 ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಆಣೆಯನ್ನು ಇದನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

17 ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ

18 ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯ ತೆಯ ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

19 ಆಗ ನೀವು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥರಾಗಿಯೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಿರಿ.

20 ಅವರು ಜನಾಂಗದಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

21 ಆತನು ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡ ಗೊಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೌದು, ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿದನು.

22 ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.

23 ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯೇ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ದಿನ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ.

24 ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರಿ.

25 ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡತಕ್ಕವನೂ;

26 ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಭಯಂಕರನೂ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಜನಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದನು.

27 ಮಹಿ ಮೆಯೂ ಪ್ರಭೆಯೂ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವೆ. ಬಲವೂ ಆನಂದವೂ ಆತನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವೆ.

28 ಜನಸಂತತಿಗಳೇ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬಲ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನಿರಿ,

29 ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನಿರಿ; ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತ್ವ ವೆಂಬ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿರಿ.

30 ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯೇ, ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡುಗು. ಲೋಕವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಕದಲುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

31 ಆಕಾಶ ಗಳು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡಲಿ.

32 ಕರ್ತನು ಆಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲಿ. ಸಮುದ್ರವೂ ಅದರ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತ್ವವೂ ಘೋಷಿಸಲಿ; ಹೊಲಗಳೂ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಪಡಲಿ.

33 ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಅಡವಿಯ ಮರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಮಾಡಲಿ; ಆತನು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ.

34 ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು;ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಅವೆ.

35 ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹೆಸ ರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಪಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೂಡಿಸು.

36 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕರ್ತ ನಾದ ದೇವರು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತುತಿ ಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ. ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರು ಆಮೆನ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದರು.

37 ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಬಿಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ--ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿವಸದ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಲು ಆಸಾಫನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋ ದರರನ್ನೂ;

38 ಒಬೇದೆದೋಮನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋ ದರರಾದ ಅರವತ್ತೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನೂ; ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕ ರಾದ ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಒಬೇದೆದೋಮ ನನ್ನೂ ಹೋಸನನ್ನೂ.

39 ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಉದಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದಹನಬಲಿ ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕೂ

40 ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕನೂ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ

41 ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಮಾನನೂ ಯೆದುತೂನನೂ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವರೂ.

42 ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಶಬ್ದ ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕಾದವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತುತೂರಿಗಳೂ ತಾಳಗಳೂ ದೇವರ ಗೀತ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳೂ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಮಾನನೂ ಯೆದುತೂನನೂ, ಮತ್ತು ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಕುಮಾರರು ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

43 ತರುವಾಯ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು; ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀ ರ್ವದಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದನು.

1 So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.

4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to record, and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel:

5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;

6 Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

7 Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the Lord into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

8 Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

11 Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.

12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

14 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;

19 When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.

20 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;

21 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

23 Sing unto the Lord, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.

24 Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.

25 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.

26 For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

27 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

28 Give unto the Lord, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

29 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.

32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.

33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the Lord, because he cometh to judge the earth.

34 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.

36 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord.

37 So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required:

38 And Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:

39 And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the Lord in the high place that was at Gibeon,

40 To offer burnt offerings unto the Lord upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the Lord, which he commanded Israel;

41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the Lord, because his mercy endureth for ever;

42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

43 And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
