ಆದರೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಗಿಡವು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ--ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸುವ ನನ್ನ ರಸವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವೆನೋ ಅಂದಿತು.
