Judges 2
1 ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಬೋಕೀಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿದೆನು. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಿರರ್ಥಕ ಮಾಡೆನು.
2 ನೀವು ಈ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಅವರ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಬಿಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೀಗೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದಿರಿ?
3 ಆದದರಿಂದ--ನಾನು ಸಹ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳಂತಿರುವರು; ಅವರ ದೇವರುಗಳು ನಿಮಗೆ ಉರುಲಾಗುವವೆಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆನು.
4 ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರವೆತ್ತಿ ಅತ್ತರು.
5 ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬೋಕೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
1 And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
2 And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?
3 Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.
4 And it came to pass, when the angel of the Lord spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.
5 And they called the name of that place Bochim: and they sacrificed there unto the Lord.

4 ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರವೆತ್ತಿ ಅತ್ತರು.
And it came to pass, when the angel of the Lord spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.
5 ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬೋಕೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
And they called the name of that place Bochim: and they sacrificed there unto the Lord.
