ಆದರೆ ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುವೆವು; ಆಗ ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ಅವರು ಮುಂಚಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬರುವಾಗ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾವು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವೆವು.

when כִּֽי kî kee
they come out יֵצְא֤וּ yāṣāʾ ya-TSA
against לִקְרָאתֵ֙נוּ֙ qirʾâ keer-AH
us, as כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
at the first, בָּרִֽאשֹׁנָ֔ה riʾšôn ree-SHONE
that we will flee וְנַ֖סְנוּ nûs noos
before them, לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ pānîm pa-NEEM
