Joshua 18:4
ಒಂದೊಂದು ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೋಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯೆತೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವರು, ತರುವಾಯ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಬೇಕು.

Joshua 18:6
ನೀವು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಏಳು ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮಗೊಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವೆನು.

ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಆ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಏಳು ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಕೊಂಡು ಶೀಲೋವಿ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಾಳೆಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದರು.
