ಯೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದರು. ಆಗ ಕೆನೆಜ್ಜೀಯನೂ ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಕಾಲೇಬನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕಾದೇಶ್ ಬರ್ನೇಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೀನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ;

ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ; ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾ ಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
