Jeremiah 38:16
ಹೀಗೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಯೆರೆ ವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿ --ನಮಗೆ ಈ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕರ್ತನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ಹಾಸಿದವನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅದರಿಂದ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿ ಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನೂ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--
