ಆಗ ಬಾರೂಕನು ಪುಸ್ತಕದಿಂದ ಯೆರೆ ವಿಾಯನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇಖಕ ನಾದ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಗೆಮರ್ಯನ ಕೊಠಡಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಮೇಲಿನ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಹೊಸ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಪ್ರವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರ ಕಿವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓದಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ನೀನು ಬರೆದ ಸುರಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಉಪವಾಸದ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೇಳುವಂತೆ ಓದಿ ಹೇಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಯೆಹೂದದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇಳುವಂತೆಯೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
