Isaiah 7:1
ಯೋಥಾಮನ ಮಗನೂ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನೂ ಆದ ಆಹಾಜನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರ ಸನೂ ಆದ ಪೆಕಹ ಎಂಬವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಜಾಗ ರೂಕನಾಗಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರು; ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ರೆಚೀನ ಅರಾಮ್ಯ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗ ಇವರ ಕೋಪವು ಎಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದರೂ ಹೊಗೆಯಾಡುವ ಈ ಎರಡು ಮೋಟು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕುಂದದಿರಲಿ.

ಈ ಜನರು ಮೆಲ್ಲಗೆ ಹರಿಯುವ ಸಿಲೋವದ ನೀರನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ ರೆಚೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮೆರೆದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ
